Elegant Black & White

Earlier this month I invited some of my girlfriends over for brunch, it was a fun way to see everyone all at once and a great excuse for me to go out of control with my baking. I tried to stick to two simple, yet elegant colors. Black and white are such perfect opposites. 

I explored a few new techniques while doing these cupcakes that I will definitely be using later on. I must admit,with my friends always going on with their "You're amazing"'s and "You're so talented girl!"'s, I was a little nervous about their opinion. At the end of the day I was reassured with a new line; "You nailed it!"
